Jurere beach is located 23 kilometres from the centre of City of Florianopolis and 35 kilometres from the airport. Summer and beach houses dot the 4.5 kilometre long Jurere Beach. The beach is adjacent to Praia Daniela, Praia do Forte, and Praia Canasvieiras. The sea water is green with pleasant temperature and calm waves making it a typical northern beach of Florianopolis. The beach is marked with soft and clear sand making the walk blissful. Sail boats, yachts, scooters and water boats of Yacht Club of Santa Catarina in the waters gives a sophisticated look to the beach, perfect place for those practice nautical sports. The beach is a popular attraction for the families during the summers especially. Jurere is truly international with well built parks, shopping, supermarkets, bars, clubs, and restaurants.

Many visitors like the fact that Jurere Beach is not so crowded and offer them perfect opportunity to enjoy and relax at the beach. There are no tall buildings in the vicinity of the beach except for Jurere Beach Village which is the tallest one. Jurere Beach Village is a beach resort that offers excellent accommodation with a taste of its own. Such is the quality and luxury provided that visitors feel they are at home, also making the trip a memorable one. Apart from that there are many other accommodation options available with plenty of price options. On top of that there are many good quality bars that serve many varieties of beer, restaurants offering typical cuisines of the island, parks, supermarkets and shopping centers in the proximity of the beach making the visit worthwhile. The beach also has many nautical sports activities. The beach is well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation and if driving by car take SC-401 up to viaduct to the Jurere and follow SC-402 there on.
